Plans for 2013 and 2014 are underway!
This fall, we return to Ecuador to see the high sierra and the Intag cloud forest during the equinox when the sun is directly overhead on the equatorial line. (see details below).
In early November, we again offer a custom tour to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley in Peru with city tours of Lima along the coast. We visit the weaving collective in Chinceros, and have lunch at a local family home in Olleyentaytambo. We rise early to explore the citadel, realizing that Machu Picchu was only one of many constructions by the might Inca tribe.
Also, there is an add-on tour to Chiclayo and Trujillo, north of Lima along the coast: affordable and fascinating exploration of the dry desert climate. New museums have recently opened that offer new opportunities to understand the Mochica cermamica culture.
Next January, we are developing a tour that will explore the Patagonia region at the southern most part of the continent on the Chilean side.
In February, we offer a wine tour of the Mendoza region of Argentina with add-on explorations to Buenos Aires and the rushing waters of the Iguazu Falls.
Anytime: New View Tours offers excellent tours to the Galapagos Islands at very reasonable prices. Let us know your dates, and we will make all the arrangements. Prices begin at $1300 for a 4 night, 5 day cruise with excellent English speaking naturalist guides.
