Vineyards of St Emillion

Vineyards of St Emillion

These grapes are ready to pick! This is the week!

Our wine tour is fascinating!

View of the gentle tertre – hill – that faces east to make the best grapes to make the very best wine – not a casual process! Oh my!

These wood kegs can be used 3-5 years and then are sold to hold whiskey!

Types of soul under this particular winery – roots can grow 8 meters deep.

A very big bottle of wine!

Modern tanks keep the temp and the circulation and the added liquids in balance.

Ahh these barrels get burned on the inside to produce a certain flavor in the wine – that sits here just a certain amount of time.

After an hour absorbing the complex process, it’s time to take another hour to taste the product- 20 euro bottle and a 50 euro bottle.

Various sizes – it’s all good!
